Ihave an error code E30 on my hotpoint ultima 1200 WM72 could any one help me? what does it mean and more importantly how do I fix it, nagging wife giving me grief urgent help required

E30 denotes a motor drive fault.
First of all check your motor brushes. The 2 white or black plastic things either side of the motor (at the back).
If the carbon in the middle is just a stub. replace the brushes. Hotpoint part 1600474.
Also check motor wire connections.
