ford galaxy brake pedal switch?

I have the glow plug warning light flashing and no brake lights have been told this is the brake switch by the brake pedal.
can any one tell me exactly where it is and how to change it.
Thanks

Just changing one now, its midway up the brake pedal
Easy to change just twist and pull it out, no screws involved
Ford galaxy 1.9 tdi 1998 hope this helps

Just done this. Halve a dozen screws plus the central fascia over the ash tray to come off. My switch was a bayonet affair that should be turned 45 deg anti clock, but steering column is in the way so had to turn clock and fiddle about a bit. Used plenty of wd40 as described elsewhere and all was well

sounds silly but switch is above pedal, pull lower dashcover by column off and you will see it,its a fiddle to get out twists through 90 degrees to get off
