ford galaxy excessive somke from exaust (ford galaxy 1.9tdi 2001 model)?

i have just replaced the oil in the engine with new oil , having noticed the oil in the sump was above the max level. The new oil was replaced to the correct level but the problem still exsits excessive smoke when i dive off. Can any one help me or advise me please?

thank you for the reply. i will check the site out. aux heater i never new had a connection to the exaust system.

is the smoke from the main exhaust or the aux heater exhaust??.aux heater exhaust is found under passenger side rear door and facing towards the centre/rear of vehicle.heaters are known to fail (common fault) and can be smokey
