my camera wont turn on (vivitar 7500i)?

was just wondering if you might know what could be wring with my digital camera.

only had the camera a day and then the next day it wouldnt turn on

so i charged the battery for a bit put it back in and it still wouldnt work :(

do you have any ideas on what could be wrong with it?
