i'm doing as you say. i'll try the other codes now but i'm not holding out much hope. my radio looks the same as the one on ebay except instead the 3 presets are in a line on the right 1,2,3 with the arrows top and bottom.

thanks anyway reg. i really appreciate your effort.

if any work i'll let you know.

The Ebay pic is a Becker Sound 10 that appears to have 5 Presets.

My Becker Calculator calculates Presets between 4 and 9 inclusive

If you say yours only has 3 then I`m afraid that can`t help you any more.

You`ve got the codes for Presets 4 , 5 and 6 so if they don`t work then you are going to have to seek advice from a Becker or Radio Decode specialist ...but it won`t be free.
Perhaps time to look for another radio with code?.

I assume that you are entering the code correctly?

Is it this method?

The screen should show CODE * * * * with the "C" flashing

Use the +/- keys to set the first digit of the code onto the screen and then press the "M" key to move to the next digit. Repeat the process until you have all 5 digits of the code on the screen and the press and hold the "M" key to finally enter the code. The radio should now operate.

If it`s a 5 preset model then that calculates to 44414

(just in casethe above doesn`t work then , the 4 Presets calculates to 41121

the 6 Presets calculates to 63363 )

Post back here whether successful or not.(+ which code)

According to my info the Sound 10 has 5 Presets and a 10 digit Serial Number.

Are you sure that you have quoted all the Serial Numbers and the correct number of Presets?

My Becker calculator requires 10 digit Serial Numbers ( your quoted one is only 8 ) and the Presets start at 4 up to 9
