renault scenic 05 replacing rear brakepads electric handbrake?

how do you change rear brake pads on renault grand scenic with electric handbrake

grand scenice 04 1.6 . electric handbrake stuck on . looked at brake pads seem fine red light on handbrak epull is flashing fuse ok . do you have any ides please

to release the handbrake switch engine on then turn it off before removing keycard release handbrake (~middle button in pull handle). Remove brake fluid cap and continue to replace pads onceyou have changed the pads replace lid on brake fluid res and start car(assuming you have the wheel back on) pump the brakes until there is good pressure THEN use handbrake worked for me. repeat process for other side

you can run the engine and release the brake by pressing the button on handbrake then pulling lever, see user manual. Need to chock whells though. Means running engine for whole time while you replace pads though! You have to wind the pistons in clockwise while applying pressure to them or they wont go in.
