13 inch?

My daughter dropped her TV and now you can still watch it but it has a lot of static to both the sound and picture. We bought her a new TV and I want to give this to my niece. I don't want to throw it away. Its only a year old. The brand is APEX.

Any dropped TV needs to be checked over by an engineer. It possibly could have suffered a hairline fracture in the high voltage line output circuits, as the weight of the transformer there tends to focus the force of impact at that point.

You may be lucky. A fracture in low voltage areas of the set is sometimes repairable.

However, a fracture in the high voltage area is not repairable and if confirmed the set should be scrapped for safety.
