scart lead keeps coming loose?

i have a Goodmans tv and i keep losing the picture because the scart lead loses its connection. I have been known to place a wedge below the scart lead to hold it in place , but, it's really annoying when it loses picture. TV is only 2 years old.

Scart cables are now available with extra clips top and bottom for a more secure connection. They are readily available from Sky who first promoted them and any good electrical retailer. Specifically ask for the 'clipper' type scart design. Alternatively you might try 'ribbon' type scart cables instead of the more common round type. The lay of the cable as it exits the plug is at a different angle and may put less strain on the equipments socket. Quality cables will also provide better grip, as the 21 pins will have thicker contacts, offering more pin grip.
