Worth Fixing 27" Panasonic CT-27G12C???

My tv is about 7yrs old. When it works, it works great.
My problem is that after 15min to 2hrs I hear a click sound and the tv shuts off and then comes back on if you bang the tv or jump on the floor. lol.
Anyhow, I never have to power the tv back on. It comes on itself after awhile.
Is this a simple issue worth gettting fixed or would it be best to purchase a new tv?? Any input would be appreciated.

It sounds as if you have dry joints on the printed circuit board ie poor connection on soldered joints,it happens after 15/20 mins because as the tv warms up the board expands slighty and the poor connections show up,when you tap the set you remake the connection, the board needs to be carefully examined and resolded, worth doing

Good luck
