my load up and shutting down is very slow?

Since i bought an all in printer, copier and scanner, my computer takes about 5 minutes to start up and the same to shut down windows, how do i speed it up.

It is suggested that you enable some useless applications at startup to speed up rebooting process.

a lot of these multi use printers jam the boot process because they use the USB interface which works when windows is loaded. The time taken to boot is caused by the boot process trying to access the USB table BEFORE windows is booted. The way round this is to ensure your printer etc is turned off until windows has finished booting. I know this works as I have done this a number of times with other people. Need more help?

There are three major items that can cause this: Not enough real memory, a fragmented hard drive and too many programs loading stubs into memory at startup. (Like the software that came with your all in one.)

This has been answered umpteen times. You may want to try a search.
