whats wrong with the motor?

creda crusader 37317 tumbledryer, drum will turn if helped by hand but wont start on its own, i cant see any obstructions on the drum and ive had the motor apart and cleaned and greased it with wd-40 (there are no bushes on this motor), cant figure out why it wont turn unaided, could it be the capacitor?

motor may well have capacitor, in start circuit its a small silver unit near to motor..BE CAREFULL WHEN HANDLING YOU CAN RECEIVE A SHOCK OF IT, IF NOT DIS-CHARGED

replacement may solve problem

DIS-CONNECT POWER BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY WORK ON APPLIANCE

change the capacitor(it kick starts the motor).
