Signum/Vectra service-due indicator?

Hi. I had my car serviced before the service-due indicator came on as it was the only opportunity to have it done. As the light wasn’t on the mechanics didn’t reset the service-due indicator so now it is on all the time! I know it’s just a question of holding something down as i had to do it in my last car, but Vauxhall want to charge me for the pleasure. Cheers for any help.

I have a 07 vectra sri and the holding the odometer down and press the brake pedal version worked for me

you are supposed to hold down the button on the dash , place your foot on the foot brake and turn the ignition on until it makes a beep noise.

It works on Vectra's
Hold in the trip button and turn on the ignition, after 10 sec the indicator resets

Doesn’t matter any more. I fixed the problem myself. I held down the button in the speedometer then switched on the ignition while holding down the button, after a period of around 10 seconds the display flashed and then displayed 21000 miles until next service. Don’t know if this is the way you should do it, i.e. whether I did too many things or something that wasn’t necessary, but it worked.
