I've got a Worcester Greenstar boiler. The pressure dropped to zero and when I try to refill it, the water just gushes out of the pressure relief pipe. How do I reset the pressure relief valve so it is in the closed position?

Ive been tinkering around with my PRV as its been dripping the past week,turns out that the expansion vessel needs re=pressurising. But i think they just turn and click into position? Mine does anyway, but thats on a glow worm boiler. Maybe there`s some grit/dirt caught in it which is stoppng it from closing properly?
