pioneer dv-410v-k dvd player?

my pioneer dv-410v stoped working.
When I put a disc it would comeback with a no disc mssg. I used all kinds of different dvd movies but it will always the same. Is there a sensor that would not be working and that's why is not reading the disc?

From the manual: Resetting the player: Use this procedure to reset all the player’s settings to the factory default. AUTO, and 1. Switch the player into standby. 2. Using the front panel buttons, holddown the  (stop) button and press  STANDBY/ON to switch the player back on. All the player’s settings are now reset. This works.

Mine has this same problem too, and it only played about 50 dvds. What a piece of junk. It even beats Panasonic in the total waste of money stakes.
The £20 dvd my mother bought from dabs is still going strong 3 years later, used daily.
