i have installed drive of my cam in my laptop .but when i connect my cam on usb port it shows it is not correct when i connect on another usb port same problem is telling what will i do please help me

hello. i have built in cam on my laptop and recently a friend changed some things on the cumputer and ever since the web cam has stayed green when im connected but when first turned on it is red. i tried to take a picture off my webcam and it sayed decice not found can u help ? thank you
