how can i fix my sukida sportsman 125?

the bike starts fine but wont tick over,i have tried the timing screw but makes no difference,as soon as let go of accelerator the bike conks out

i would also suggest checking the valve clearances as it sounds like it may be low on compression if it will not tick over with the tickover screw all the way in

Hi, ok the carb could just do with resetting of mixture & tickover screws, first there should be a slotted mixture screw head just visible in the carb body near the inlet stub (to cylinder head) screw this inwards all the way then back out 1 1/2 turns. On the other side of carb nearer the top is a spring loaded screw, this is the tickover speed adjuster so be ready with a screwdriver & start up the engine, if engine falters/dies screw adjuster clockwise until engine picks up to a steady tickover, you can then go back to the mixture screw for finer tuning by turning screw in or out. hope that helps.
