my maytag freezer on top fridge on bottom is approximately 7 years old. It has a slide temp set for both fridge and freezer on the top inside on the frame when you open fridge door. the setting don't seem to matter fridge freezes everything. pretty much everything against fridge back gets frozen

It's sounds like it's getting too cold inside.
Leave the door open for a while.
Then shut the door.
Repeat as needed.
