error code E2?

Crosley front load washer Model # CFW-8000GW/GR/GS/GBL. I HAVE ONLY HAD THIS MACHINE FOR 2 YRS, shouldn't be having problems. Kept displaying error code E2 and stops the washer with clothes soaking wet. I live in the middle of no-where so hard to get service. When I do get service he has to call 800 # in my manual and Crosleys repairman tells my repairman what to do. If you can call it that. Depends on who he talks to as to what codes meen. Doesn't say in manuel. I cleaned the drain filter again did have a bobby pin in it, but still didn't work, crosley man said I needed a new drain pump, ordered one for me $55, $12 shipping not to mention the repairmans bill. Still won't drain out all water. They say it has to be the sensor. another $40 plus same shipping and labor and milage again.. No error codes apear. but still too much water coming in. Clothes are so wet code on dryer HI- to much humidity. crosley was called again said it was the contol panel will cost $114 just for the part. My son-in-law looked at it. Way in the back center, There are 3 terminals in a cluster, they control the water going into dispenser. The main one where hose goes into detergent area, It has a light blue plug in on it's end. The cold water runs continuously. He unplugged that one and water quit. I now am using the washer, but I have to unplug that perticular terminal or to much water. Then plug it in again to fill. What should I do? What do you think is wrong? HELP!!

I found the problem. I took a multimeter and checked the voltage at the cold water solenoid on the valve. It was not turning off when the voltage was turning off. Then I plugged it into both the bleach and whatever the third solenoid is. Both of the other worked correctly, therefore the solenoid is sticking. Replace the cold water valve.

I am not sure. Mine is doing the same thing. Luckily I have not spent any money on mine yet. It seems to be related to cold weather. I have turned off the cold water valve on the wall and unplugged it a few times. When I start it back up it works fine for a while.
