sukida sk125-2 exhaust rattle?

hi, the baffles must have rotted in my exhaust and if i take it above 3k revs its a really loud rattle and it just doesnt sound too good going down the road but the exhaust is all in 1 and cant get inside it is there maybe anyway of fixing it? iv got a welder

Hi, think your model has the chrome exhaust? as the steel is so thin on these silencers and to make things easier to weld back up is to cut around the original weld you can see just near the very end (tail end) of the silencer,this should give you more material to re-weld to. this will also help removing loose bits as you will open up the largest diameter part of the exh. Hopefully you have a MIG welder & not a stick welder? it'll make welding up easier! :)

of course you can if you have a welder just cut the pipe in half take the loose bit out and then weld it back up again !it will only be a loose part of the baffle just sling it away also paint the welded area with heat proof black paint afterwards or it will rot away.

You can't fix it,you need a new exhaust,sorry!
