Using McAfee? Why?

The error reported is usualy associated with alternative copy manager, like teracopy, NOT the presence of a virus.

If it's related to some external hardware, there is nothing that a virus scan can find and even less correct. In this case, check the related drivers and the physical connection of the device.

Is the problem related to/or with with the SanDisk Compact Flash PCMCIA Adapter? If Yes then try this: I read this some where a few months ago: Download the macafee 2010/or 2011 new edition and intsall and go to extend option and scan the system 32 folder - the problem should be remedied. Might be worth a try...if you feel that this is required...Not too hot on this one so better do some asking around first before you do any thing rash..Hope this helps.

Not monitor related.

Anyway, do you use TeraCopy? It seems that it's a very common problem with it. The solution is usualy to uninstall it totaly.

From the reviews I've seen, it's often slower than the plain windows copy process and less reliable, especialy when moving fIles around on a single drive. In this case, it can be literaly 1000's time slower when using TeraCopy...
