Pressure Gauge - dead?

I have a Saunier Duval SD620 05F2 The needle on the pressure Gauge isnt moving - Is there another way to confirm the guage is at fault before I pay an engineer to install a new one?
Thank youi

Thanks SD, appreciate the reply. There is pressure in it because I over egged it the day before and burst the mains inlet pipe ... rather scared when it came to refilling it yesterday - maybe there just isn't enough water in the system but thats what I thought the day before ...
I didn't try bleeding the rads to be honest, but the kitchen rad was getting warm pretty quickly.
I do have a spare boiler for parts maybe swap the guage around and see if that solves it.

You say dead, So I guess no reading, Have you got pressure in the system? If no pressure, or not enough pressure, no reading. Try bleeding a radiator, how fast does water, or air come out? If air slowly, No pressure. If water slowly, No pressure. re pressurise, Is unit working/ If not, could be due to low pressure, The gauge is just an indicator, it does not switch the electronics. If running, and good pressure from radiators etc, then possibly faulty gauge, could also be dirt in the inlet to it, only a small hole for the water to get through.
