while on vacation, ice formed on evaporator coils probably due to lint buildup on condenser coils underneath. Upon removing lint and defrosting evaporator coils freezer and refrigerator get cold enough but compressor keeps running. There is some frost on evaporator coils--1/8" maybe.

Would icemaker (which was empty) cause the compressor to run until the ice container is full????
