I emailed Hotpoint late 25/12/04 to ask what this code meant (we've got the same problem - machine 13 months old!) and they phoned today to say that it meant that the machine wasn't draining - but we knew that already. It appears to be either a blocked or seized pump but our machine also now exhibits a new habit - namely that if switced off from the front panel it switches itself back on again a few minutes later which makes me wonder if it's a processor issue.
