Favourites?

Windows 7 laptop ACER.

Favourites: To add a Youtube or a website to a particular folder I use as normal favourites and click 'Add to favourites.
Then in the 'Create in ' box if the correct name folder isn't showing click the small arrow to the right to bring up the favourites folder list.

The problem is all, over 180, folders show from my documents etc why is this when I don't recall saving to my favourites list, I have to slow search all folders until I find the art folder I want to save to.

How can I change this without losing any folders?

Structuring your folders that way is always recomended, for all your folders and documents type.

If you have a logical structure, at least for you, you'll find all your documents much faster.

You have too many high-level folders.

Make a directory structure of folders nested within folders - like this for instance...

ART/PAINTING/MODERN/WARHOL
ART/PAINTING/MODERN/LICHTENSTEIN

It will take time to set up and even more time to file things away in the right place but finding them again will be much quicker.

You just move the contents of each folder - file-by-file
to a more appropriately named and positioned folder.

As your old folders become empty they no longer have any value to you.

Good luck...
