2002 jaguar XJR cd button on radio went dead?

CD changer stop working kept say NO disk , I pulled the mag out and put it back in.. After doing that went back to the head unit and the CD button went dead .. meaning i can't switch to CD mode.THe CD changer has power. it loads and un-loads the mag and engages the disk... please help me
