How to repair a noisy unusable Electrolux EWF1087?

Found the internal drum has movement and when in operation makes a lot of noise and is un usable.
Removed the back and manually spin the pulley and the noise sounds as is it is from the bearing area.
There is also noticeable stains originating from the bearing area.
Have attempted to remove the tapered pulley securing bolt but experienced much difficulty resulting in broken Alan keys and rounding the nut.
How can I get the pulley off and is this movement in the internal drum an issue previously found and am I on the right path.
Would very much appreciate assistance and advise to enable us to utilise this otherwise good devise to keep all in clean clothes!
