Fisher and Paykel 7.5 Smartdrive 8 won't start?

Everything been working fine until today. All lights come as normal but when press start nothing happens at all it just sits there. Pressing the button again pauses the cycle as the light goes from solid to flashing but it just won't start filling.

It does have a lid switch or at least it should have one as a safety device. Either someone has disabled it previously & by passed it or it is faulty and has now given up all together. As I previously asked - Do you have a multimeter and can you use it to diagnose faults?

It doesn't have a lid switch as far as I can tell. You could open lid when it was running and it would keep going. The actual start switch appears to work as it changes the lights when you press to pause cycle.

Sounds like a faulty lid switch. Do you have a multimeter to check parts with and do you know how to check if a switch is working?
