Try reading the user manual that came with it. That is the usual place to start. If you follow the book instructions and it still won't work then phone the shop you bought it from.

If it's brand new then it will carry some warranty but before you call the vendor who supplied it check that the water tap on the connector is turned on - washers begin by letting in water - no water then no work.
