Earth Led Flashing?

Electrolux instant water heater shower with earth led flashing intermittently but when I press the test button, the earth led will then turn back to steady, any one have overcome this issue yet ? I installed 5 unit in different houses and they happen to all of it ?

Yup, Earth wire is ok.

If I disconnect the earth wire from the unit, the earth led will turn off immediately. I presumed the earth sensing circuit and earth wire connection were ok.

If I jumper the neutral wire to earth wire, it will trip my fuse box elcb. Thus, earthing and current leakage safety device were ok.

I have found a noise filter capacitor in the controller board with funny reaction, let me test it for longer period before update it to you all. Thanks

Have you actually checked the bonding impedance to the supply safety earth ?

Sorry for the incomplete detail, they all are the same model but with two version.

Electrolux AC Pump Aura Slim Electric Water Heater

M/N : EWE361BA-DW
i)PNC : 945 000 702 - 01 ( Two Unit )
ii)PNC : 945 000 702 - 02 ( Three Unit )

I have removed a unit from bathroom & test in my workshop, here are some funny results for sharing,

1) I placed the unit upward or downward or rotate 90 degree right, after couple of minutes, it will start flashing from slow to fast then off.

2) If I rotate it 90 degree left when the earth led is flashing or off, after 2 to 3 minutes, it will turn back to steady light.

3) The earth led will immediately turn to steady if I switch on my vacuum cleaner during the earth led in slow flashing. But it will not work when the unit earth led is in fast flashing or off condition.

4) If I press the test button to trip the internal elcb during the earth led in flashing or off condition, after 2 to 3 minutes, it will also turn back to steady light.

Actually all this unit are brand new and I suppose to get the warranty replacement from my local Electrolux.

Since all unit with this funny response and I believed it must be some kind of enviromental compatible issue which will be happen in any replacement unit with the same PNC code.

I have called my local service centre department, they are not friendly nor willing to accept this funny issue, just pinpointing that is my electrical source wiring earth issue.

I believe someone in this planet have experienced it and probably have solution for it. I will try to get the solution before sending it back for warranty replacement.

Will keep you updated if found something new...thanks for everything :-)

On the Electrolux website I count at least 9 different showers. So which one is yours?
