Fisher & Paykel IW812 - hot and cold water not filling?

Hi,

When machine is turned on, can hear the hot and cold valves turning on momentarily allowing a trickle of water to enter the bowl then no water flows.

Can fill the machine manually thru all cycles and machine works fine.

Machine will not fill automatically when hoses are connected via the valves.

Could this be a faulty controller?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Hi,
Removed both hoses and confirmed good flow is present (this is how the machine is being filled manually at present to complete washing).
Reconnected the hoses, set machine to cold fill, auto water level and turn on cold tap only and started machine. No cold water flow. Turned off cold water, set machine to hot fill, auto water level and turn on hot tap only and restarted machine. Hot water filled for about a minute then machine went into water recycle mode and hot water did not flow from that point with machine staying in recycle water mode.

Start from the basics. Remove hoses from inlet valves & point hose in to sink. Turn on tap & verify that a strong flow is present. Reconnect hoses to inlet valves, making sure cold tap hose is on cold inlet valve & hot on hot. Turn just the cold tap on & set machine to cold fill. Start machine & note what happens. Turn off cold tap & turn on hot tap. Set machine to Hot fill. Start & note what happens. If it works on both then problem solved. If not then post back here what happened & I will help further.
