My P reg Ford Mondeo estate, has a problem. Whenever I indicate right, both my rear lights flash at the same time as the indicator. My son played about with the wires connecting the indicator stalk to the steering column and he fixed it for about 10 mins, We think it has something to do with the hazard warning lights, bulb which sits on the steering wheel .

Please help, as the police have pulled me over once already about it.
