If its a Xsara not picasso, remove passenger foot-well cover which is held in with 3 torx plastic screws. As you look up into car you will see 3 cross head screws, remove these and filter is there. Ensure that when replacing filter it goes in the same way round as it came out. replace screws, job done. takes approx 15-20 mins

The pollen filter is located under the bonnet at the back just about in line with the Steering wheel. It's letter box shape and has three black plastic wing nuts.
It can be hard to see but look carefully just below dashboard height.
Undo the three nuts and the cover should just come away. Remove the filter and replace. You'll probably find dealers charge you upto £25 at a service and don't even change it! Just like the fuel filter too!
You can get a Pollen filter for around £6 delivered from e-bay! orginal too!

underbonnet, below wipers there are 3 plastic retainers, unscrew these and withdraw the pollen filter.
