derek, March 2005
99 / 206 / 1.4 petrol oil filter is located at the front of the motor under the exhaust manifold. small round tube petruding from the engine about 100mm (10cm) usually black or orange but can be various colours. just removed mine.

who ever changed it last had well overtightened and for removal i had to peirce through with a screwdrive. was so tight i couldnt remove it lying down under the car , had to stand and reach through the radiator hoses and under the exhaust manifold to losen it.

Hi,

there are two types. One is under the car and screwed in. The other is under the bonnet and is a paper oil filter. usually directly in front of the engine, a black oval shape with a silver screw bolt on top.

Hi.
The oil Filter is located to the right had side (standing in front of the engine) just under the Exhaust Manifold (between the batery and engine block)
There is a black plastic dome shaped item. It has a 19mm hexaganol shaped fitting on top.

Unscrew the plastic dome, and you will find the oil filter located inside of it.

Just pull the old filter out, It comes out with a bit of a pull.
Push the new Filter on, so it fits snugg in the dome.

*REMEMBER TO REPLACE THE OIL RING ON THE DOME.

Replace the dome - do not over tighten.
