when starting wash cycle the washing machine fills up fine on all settings but the drum is not spinning to wash or dry the load all we get is a clicking sound then eventually the pump will kick in and then the washer machine will turn off
Common fault on Hotpoint autos. motor brushes are likely to be worn and therefore not making contatc you can buy a new set for around £4 on ebay, quite easy to change but would be expensive if you called out an engineer
