my 97 vectra 2.5 v6 cdx will not start and i have found that the water res is full of oil. i have been told it could be either a head gasket or the oil cooler problem.the car ran perfectly last night but would not start the next morning(it did not even try to start).what help can you offer

definately head gasket or a cracked head.wont start due to water in piston chambers

Open up the res and crank the engin seen if the water is coming up,if that is the case your head gascet is gone replace
