Tried to install more memory?

I tried to install more memory to my other pc and now its not booting up at all.

Gary is right in what he says, but also cheap memory can be problematic, even if it is the right type. Also, some memory sticks won't work together. Have you installed it with your existing memory? Try using the new one only. Also, try swapping the slots the memory is in. I once bought a 256 stick, and it wouldn't work. Took my existing stick out, replaced it with the new memory and it worked. Put the old memory in the spare slot, and hey presto! No problems.

have you removed the added memory. if it reboots without the added memory check that your motherboard can handle the new memory ( size and specs ) or if you need to change a jumper
(check your manual ) or update your bios. ( check the motherboard web-site)
If it dont reboot when the added memory is removed chances are
the motherboard is broke probably due to static electricity while
you installed the new memory.
