Kenwood KDC-C512FM No power to unit after replacing car battery?

Is there an in-line fuse or something that I can check? car's fuses are all good, or so says my mechanic. how do I get the CD's out of the changer without power, assuming no one knows how to fix my problem.... Thanks!

I have a KDC-C512FM changer as well and already have it installed in my car to work with my stock radio. However I just bought a brand new Kenwood cd tuner (KDC-X890) and would like to know if all I have to do is purchase a new DIN extension cable in order for it to work with my changer? Thanks!

There's a fuse on the back of your head unit. You will need to pull it out and replace it.
The reason for changing battery? A little more info might make it easier to locate the problem. CD-Changers have an inline fuse if its aftermarket.
The power supply to your Cd changer is a constant 12 volts run directly to your battery. The radio meerly turns on the controls to it. You should be able to remove the cd's without radio power.
