How do I replace my kitchen mixer taps?

My kitchen tap is faulty I have bought a replacement, I need to kno how to replace it , or should I employ a plumber? It is a single mixer tap. Thank you

if oyu have service valves under the sink turn them off and disconnect the pipes from the taps. loosen the backnuts and remove the mixer tap. replace in reverse order. if you do not have a service valve on the hot pipe you are better off employing a plumber.
