How can i fix my treadmill?

My treaddmill stays on for 7 seconds and then the panel shuts off. the number 3 is the only thing displaying on the panel

Mine had same problem. Believe it or not I tapped the sensor a half dozen times (more if needed) and it now works fine. I read this solution on another site.
