indesit WIL133 not draining wont spin?

Noticed my washing machine started a loud grumbling noise then when it got to the final spin it just dies on me. After a while the start button along with the extra spin and stain removal button flash.
any ideas please

Had this recently. Hold the power button down until all flashing lights stop. Manually move cycle setting to spin, and press power on again.

If this doesn't work, sorry - might be more serious
