i have a zanussi zw 1432 washing machine and while doing a wash cycle the spin is skipped

the filter is clear no build up of fluff. this was working few days ago just recently stopped spinning no warning of anything wrong. I am trying to get it to spin qwith no clothes in washer just run fron rinse to spin but just keeps skipping the rinse step and goes to drain
