how can I get to the headlight bulb?

How do I get at the headlight bulb on the drivers side of a '97 Plymouth Grand Voyager?

I just changed the driver's side headlamp on my 1998 Grand Caravan. The plug in the wheel well didn't give me access to the headlamp, just to the signal light. Had to remove the entire headlight housing (removed one screw on top and three nuts from the back), and then pull out the plug, twist out the protective casing that was around the plug and that sealed the bulb, and then pull out the bulb itself and replace. The fuse box made this work almost impossible - very little room to work with. Overall took 40 minutes.

If you look in the wheel well there is a small round opening plugged up, just turn the plug counter clock wise and bam you have access, the hole is tiny and you gotta fish your hand up in there a few inches. I just got done changing my Driver Side blinker bulb and I'm just now getting over the worse charlie horse that is in my forearm/wrist, I can tell it's gonna be sore a few days. You'd think that the freakin engineers that design this cr*p could have done a better job in getting us access to a simple bulb. I know I'm not an engineer but an access in the wheel well that would be bigger than a 5' hole would have been better, maybe making it so a LARGE portion of the wheel well came down would be better. but again I'm not an engineer and who knows what that would do to the drivability of the car or the sound of the stereo....that's sarcasm. Good luck to those who have the joy of swapping this thing out. What a joke.
