no hot air?

ive got a sensordry white knight tumble dryer that has lost its hot air .any suggestions on what the problem can be and can i repair it.

yes there is a red plastic button on the back of the dryer just press it it is a saftey cut off for the heat...liam

If it's not getting hot but everything else is working, then it sounds like the heater element has gone. I've just had to buy a new one for mine, which cost £25.

It's a fairly easy thing to replace - it is attached to a plate which is screwed onto the inside of the rear panel. The drum will need supporting though (I just rested it on a couple of pieces of wood), as the drum bearing is also attached to the rear panel.

Don't forget to make a note of the wiring connections before you unplug anything - the re-connection details seem to be a popular request on this forum!
