How can I fix my leaking soap drawer in my Hotpoint WD62?

I have a leak coming from my soap drawer, it only happens on the initial filling of the machine. Once it has filled for the first time it doesn't leak for the rest of the cycle.

Had the same problem, turned down the water pressure and it's fine now

Mike,

You're not alone.

Did you ever find an answer to your problem. My WD62 does the same thing. Water leaks from the side and bottom of the soap drawer on the inital fill (generally program G but happens with others as well). I have tipped mine back so it is definitely not leaning forward. The soap drawer is clean.

If you have found an answer from somewhere I would be grateful as it is really starting to annoy me.

The machine might be leaning too far forward.

Or you might have really high water pressure.
