How can we fix our Sanyo?

Our tv was blown by a storm we had the other night. The socket it was plugged into was supposed to be surge protected, but obviously not. The socket works fine now, but the tv is still broke. It has current running through it, but it wont come on at all. It is a 21" Sanyo, I'm not sure of the model. The fuse does'nt look blown, but is it possible that that's whats wrong? Can it be fixed?

there is a 4amp/125volt fuse right near the end of the power cord(internal).its very easy to open tv and change.

check the internal fuses, you can make a simple circuit tester from the parts of a torch. the fuse is either ok or blown. good luck.
