I have a TV with a video combined. The recording has been working fine until recently when I attempted to record a programme, the video visually recorded the programme I had selected, yet the sound was distorted (into a very slow-motion playing sound), on other occasions it has recorded the programme visually, but the sound has been that of the programme which was previously recorded on the tape, when I fast forward the tape it is possible to see both the old programme that was taped and the new programme at the same time. I have tried using a head-cleaner but this has had no effect. Can anyone help?

But i am sure it is the Erase Head.
It will be a dry joint or loose wire/connector
