I own a Matsui TVR185 Security Coded tv/vhs, I have changed the batteries in the remote control and have lost the use of the tv and vhs due to not knowing what the code is and also how to access the picture onscreen as it now just comes on standby regards from tony please help

Input code incorrectly three times until it does not give you the option again, then either....

Hold down the minus volume button on the set and the "7" on the remote together for about 7 seconds, or

Hold down the minus volume button on set and "6" on remote followed by minus volume and "7" on the remote.

I got this from another website, should reset code to 0000, it has just worked on mine.
