indesit wd12 fills with water?

Indesit wd12 fills with water whenever turned on. filter is not blocked, power light does not turn on, dryer light does not go off regardless of the dial position. I assumed the fault was on the board, i found a bad connection (burnt) on the board, fixed this and now it still fills but the dial keeps turning, is this progress? Anyone know what to do now? is the board knackered?

Hi sorry to complicate everything but you may find that you have a door interlock problem very common on indesit, as well as possible water sensor problem

have you checked the pressure switch bottle? follow the thin tube from the switch to the bottle and check that this is not full of gunk and that the pipe is not clogged this can stop the switch working either way (full/empty) as the air cannot pass

Have posted a simliar question a few days ago. I replaced the pressure sensor and found no difference. Have now been led to believe its the water inlet vale that is faulty. However, as I have spent 4 weeks waiting for the pressure sensor to arrive (only to find it wasn't broken!), I'm now getting someone else to fix the machine. I'll post a further reply if it gets sorted.
