I have a magnavox DVD player mwd200ga and no remote, I have a universal remote. How can I get the codes for the DVDs player

Magnavox is clicking shows beautiful picture for 1-2 sec. powers off then power is put back on and I will effect got an vcr cleaner still will not clean help please
