Fix Fault Toshiba

My Toshiba DVR 620KU when playing a vhs tape stops after a minute and ejects the tape. I have cleaned the head.

My Toshiba RDXV60KB combo was working ok then when I put a cassette in it tried to read it then stopped the same with the dvd, as anyone idea what could be the problem please.

After loading a tape VCR shutsdown. When you power unit back on and attempt to eject the tape it wont eject. Could this be a faulty Mode switch.
